On Glođansko hill near Zvornik, Republic of Serbska, today marks 23 years of suffering of 126 soldiers of the Army of Repubic of Serbska  (VRS).
The crime took place on 6 November 1992, when the young men were killed by Islamists of the so-called Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For Serbian speaking audience, the following documentary tells about horrors and torture the Serbs were subject to between 5 –  6 November 1992.

All the victims were members of the Zvornik and Sekovici Brigade of the VRS.

Exhumation of massacred Serbs, while hooryfied family memmbers were waiting nearby: Glodjansko brdo

Representatives of the Army have unveiled  (again) memorial plaque with the inscription: “Here lie 126 killed soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Serbska”.  Everytime, soon after installation, the plaque was smashed by unknown persons.

Between 109 and 250 Serbs have been killed or gone missing during the night 5 and 6 November 1992 .

Glođansko brdo, Kozjak, Trešnjica, Maskalica potok and Siroki put are just some of the places near the town of Zvornik in which earth and dust have covered dozens of savagely murdered Serbs, transforming the landscape into the town of  mass graves.

The moment when the prisoners were taken to the highest point of Glodjansko brdo hill and Kozjak and tied by barbed wire to the trees, the war began to resemble a brutally savage feast.

Only three of all the victims Serbs whose bodies were exhumed, had the ‘good fortune’ to be killed by a bullet.

Exhumation funeral

Mutilated bodies and remains  were buried by their families

The bodies were unearthen often without the head and the extremities, with nails and iron bars in the skulls and breasts, and chains arond wrists and knees, skulls smashed with blunt objects, cut off scrotum, burned body parts.

Most of those killed whose identity was established, were buried in a common grave.

What makes this crime so monstrous is the fact that it was committed by Muslims from Kamenica,  neighbors and as Serbs believed,  friends.

But it is not only a characteristic of this war, but all previous in this region, where only briefly dormant hatred was fastly awakened by war.

Skipping gates of their Othodox Serb neighbors, Muslim hatred  leaves bloody footprints in every Orthodox home in this region.
